Rohde & Schwarz Benelux B.V. is an independent operating sales and support organization to serve their customers throughout the Benelux, counting 45 employees and a regional office in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Core capabilities of the organization are sales of test equipment and customer project business; local project execution and a service support team. The Benelux organization is a full subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co.KG which is headquartered in Munich, Germany.
Due to the increasing number of project opportunities, our sales department Customer Projects has the need for a highly motivated new employee.

Account Manager (m/f/d)
- Achieve revenues and targets with an in-depth understanding of the company product portfolio incl. unique selling points and individual value
- Manage an opportunity pipeline by liaising with existing customers and sourcing new business
- Master the quotation process, mostly tender oriented
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships with the strategic and operational decision makers
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate to future market changes including planning for revenue growth as well as customer shifts/consolidations
- Register all customer information and sales opportunities in the company’s CRM tool
- Regular communication with the local sales manager and the central Market Segment counterparts (Germany)
- HBO education and thinking level, preferably business administration
- At least 5 years of experience in account management
- Affinity with the Naval Communications and Systems industry
- Affinity with RF and communication technology is desirable
- Experienced with tender procedures
- Strong analytic and strategic skills as well as excellent presenting skills
- Negotiation capabilities up to executive level
- The ability to construct and review contracts
- Project oriented thinking
- Willingness to travel abroad periodically
- Excellent spoken and written communication in Dutch and English; German language is a plus
