Vacature Business Intelligence Consultant

Who are you?

You have experience in a similar position and you have knowledge of Power BI, Qlik or Tableau. As a consultant you are ambitious, creative and service-oriented. Thanks to your strong analytical skills and social skills, you know how to define the customer's needs and then provide them with the right information, reports and advice. You are familiar with technologies such as MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS. You are also interested in Cloud solutions. We love it when you do what you do best, in your own way. That is so clear. What are you going to do?

As a BI Consultant you work on various projects and you contribute to the development and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions. You help customers to increase their return by providing insight into data for better decision-making within organizations.

You design, program and test reporting solutions and interactive dashboards and are responsible for the entire process from strategy to development and optimization of BI solutions. Where possible, you proactively think along with customers and invest in a long-term relationship by realizing high-quality solutions.

What we are looking for

• You have a HBO or WO education, preferably in business administration in combination with information technology;
• You have broad (general) IT knowledge;
• You have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in business consulting;
• You think in terms of data solutions, structures and possibilities;
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau is an advantage;
• Knowledge of SQL/Database tools and data modeling techniques is an advantage.
• Certificates from Microsoft and/or Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) are an advantage.
• Experience with project-based work (SCRUM / Agile) is an advantage.
• You are analytical, a co-thinker, customer- and service-oriented, creative, curious and communicative.
• You are a real team player.
