Copywriter (PT/FT)

Highlight International is one of Europe's leading suppliers of show equipment and a worldwide distributor of products in the field of light and sound equipment.

To strengthen our marketing team, we are looking for a copywriter.

The copywriter creates (SEO-optimized) commercial texts for (online) catalogs, social media and other marketing channels, and maintains the product-related texts in the company’s ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV). The copywriter coordinates the translation of texts in collaboration with translation agencies and/or bilingual colleagues.

We are looking for a creative content writer who is a proactive team-player and can communicate in a timely and effective manner with all stakeholders. Strong copywriting skills are essential.

As an international organization, English is our main language. Our texts are also published in Dutch, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit texts
• Maintain the product-related texts in the company’s ERP system
• Coordinate the translation of texts

Job requirements:

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages
• At least 2 years of work experience
• A degree in a related field (journalism or similar) or extended knowledge based on experience and additional training
• A marketing background is an advantage
• Good command of the German, French and/or Spanish language is an advantage
• Online content creation skills
• Knowledge of on-page SEO
• Familiarity with our industry is an advantage
