Field Inspector Fulltime (m/f), Rotterdam
What does the job involve?
In this function you come into contact with a variety of clients, international trade parties both importers and exporters. You are responsible for performing a full range of on-spot inspections and assessment on various industrial materials and equipment of suppliers and third parties. Integrity and the accuracy of the inspection performance are essential.
What are the tasks in the job?
This position consists of the following general tasks:
Implementation of inspection and/or identification activities assigned by the Line Manager according to relevant procedures; Timely presentation of abnormalities observed during inspection activities to the Line Manager; Composition of the certificates and the inspection reports; Ordinary maintenance of equipment and tools for inspection; Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager; Maintain knowledge and adherence to the latest standards as provided; Frequent travelling within the Benelux is part of the job.
What do we require from you?
- Bachelor degree in (Mechanical) engineering or science (TU Delft, Eindhoven)
- Driving license (B)
- Two or more years of experience in inspection and identification
- Quality Management system (ISO)
- Independent implementation of inspection
- New Knowledge understanding
- Knowledge of quality assurance and management system
- Used to frequent traveling
- Competent Dutch and English ability
- Basic computer skills like MS Office and Office Suite software
- Seasoned professional
- Hit the ground running
- Experience in the sector
- Understanding of Chinese culture or Chinese nationality living in Europe with good level of English
