The main purpose of the key account manager is to improve the organization’s market position with the SVI customers and achieve financial growth.
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Customer Operations, SVI EMEA, the main duties of this role will include:
- Regular visits and presentations to customers/ distributors;
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers;
- Developing and strengthening relationships with potential customers;
- Negotiating contracts and conditions;
- Creating quotes and contracts;
- Communicating with internal departments such as commercial, logistics and technical;
- Following market developments and interpreting the influence on the budget/ sales plan.
- Monitor customer complaints, delivery performance and escalate if needed.
- Get things done in the internal organization to fulfil customer requirements and information requests.
- Annual, Quarterly and promotional pricing in cooperation with Pricing Manager & Finance to realize planned margin targets.
Prerequisites of a Key Accountmanager:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in commercial field.
- minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role.
- 30%-40% Travel.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, in English; and preference for candidate speaking French/ German.
- Excellent customer oriented and presentation skills.
- Affinity with Food or Food Service industry; understand customer needs throughout the supply chain from farm to restaurant.
