Product, Support and Development Trainee

At ADM Cocoa BV we are looking for a Product, Support and Development (PSD) Trainee. As trainee you will be part of the team that handles product development projects and application support for our cocoa products to our customers, mainly in Europe, Africa and Middle East.
You will take care of the technical support of all product lines of ADM Cocoa as produced in Europe and Africa to stimulate sales and relations with customers. You will keep your knowledge up to date about specific application expertise (center of excellence) by: participation in trainings, contact with specific institutes and visiting (food) fairs. You will be able to work independently on product development projects and develop specific expertise for the application of cocoa products.
This position is a great opportunity for an individual with a ‘foodie’, commercial, creative approach and a degree in a food related discipline with relevant experience in industry for at least one year. You will be involved in product development/support process, working with other departments to ensure a good relationship with the customers. To be successful within this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with work experience in a food environment. More important, you must have an eager and passionate approach to food as well as being commercial and customer focused. You like to be autonomous, responsible and results focused. You must be able to communicate well with many departments, with both junior and senior members of the team. Ultimately, you must have the confidence and enthusiasm to pursue a career in food!
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be at least a food (or other related) Bachelor’s graduate
- Have relevant work experience in a food company
- Be willing to travel
- Have Excellent command of English language and willingness to learn Dutch
Will be a big advantage:
- Good command of French/German language
- Good knowledge of bakery and cocoa applications
