Our goal is to help organizations be data driven by visualizing data in a way that easily generates insights.
We support our customers with an innovative portfolio of products and services in which we make extensive use of standard software solutions in the market: Qlik, Microsoft (Power BI / Azure), TimeXtender, Alteryx, Snowflake etc.

In addition to the standard solutions that we resell and implement, we increasingly see the need to develop custom software solutions so that we can serve our customers even better. You can think of light web applications or connectors for data access, for example.

What do you do as a Software Developer?

You are responsible for designing, developing, supporting and maintaining Victa's own software products. This concerns simple applications that must function flawlessly within a business intelligence infrastructure. You work in a team from our location in Amsterdam or Hengelo. Victa mainly uses .NET and javascript as a development platform, but we also sometimes switch to other languages ​​such as Python or R. We are looking for someone who already has some experience, but we are also willing to start a training course with you. Moreover, there is also support from the existing development team.

What are we already developing?

At Victa we develop various applications that support Business Intelligence projects.

• (web-based) apps to support Business Intelligence projects. For example, we have developed a User Portal that can be rolled out in combination with Qlik Sense, which enables self-service management, among other things, for user authorization and authentication.

• Connectors for data accesses (REST, SOAP, Odata APIs and Web services) that we develop for Dutch ISVs such as Twinfield, Exact Online, Nmbrs, TOPdesk, etc.
• Integrations with other software suppliers (including singlesignon, API integrations) for our embedded analytics projects.
• Internal (registration) systems including a subscription management system.
• Maintenance and expansion of in-house developed software packages

What are we looking for?

• You have a completed HBO or WO education (preferably Computer Science).
• You have some experience with web development and database development.
• You have knowledge of and experience with web technologies.
• You have knowledge of and some experience with Javascript, C# and SQL.
• You have knowledge of authentication methods and how to implement them.
• You have relevant experience as a .NET developer.
• Experience with project-based work (SCRUM / Agile) is an advantage.
• You are analytical, a co-thinker, customer- and service-oriented, creative, curious and communicative.
• You are a real team player.
